A Historic Milestone, A Shared Celebration
As we look ahead to this once-in-a-generation celebration, we invite our customers, employees, and community members to join us in honoring our nation's past, celebrating our shared values, and building a strong future together.
“For more than 150 years, Watertown Savings Bank has been committed to helping individuals, families, businesses, and local organizations thrive,” said Brett Dean, President and CEO of Watertown Savings Bank. “This anniversary gives us another opportunity to bring people together, give back, and celebrate the enduring spirit of community.”
In the spirit of giving back…
Our employees will continue to dedicate time and effort to volunteer opportunities. This month, for example, we will come together in support of Brighten a Day Foundation, by sending messages of hope and support to those in need.
Building connections with our communities…
Public Event
We are pleased to be the host location for Watertown Business Coalition’s community and networking event on June 16th. The event will highlight the efforts of Watertown's Project Literacy, a free program that caters primarily to immigrants wanting to improve their English language skills and learn about American culture.
Spotlight Series
In recognition of those who have served our nation, we will also shine a spotlight on Operation American Soldier, highlighting the organization's meaningful work and its dedication to honoring military service members and veterans.
Excursions for our customers and employees…
The Tall Ships are returning to Boston Harbor for Sail Boston. To experience this special maritime gathering, Club 50 members and employees will have the opportunity to board The Spirit of Boston and sail up close to the Tall Ships.
Let’s celebrate together…

Walk down history lane…
The Historical Society of Watertown will have a “Watertown During the Revolution” walk on June 7th. It will be a valuable opportunity to explore and celebrate the people, places, and stories that define our local heritage.
As our nation prepares to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary, Watertown Savings Bank is proud to honor this historic milestone through a series of initiatives that reflect our longstanding commitment to our community, customers, and service.
