Grand Opening of the WSB Market Basket Plaza Branch in Waltham

Branch Grand Opening

Watertown Savings Bank opened their newest branch office, located at 25 Market Place Drive in Waltham’s Market Basket Plaza, on Thursday, December 7th, 2017.

It is the Bank’s 10th location and the second one in Waltham. The ribbon cutting ceremony with Waltham city officials, the Bank’s Board of Trustees & Corporators, Bank management, and the builders and architects of the branch, was held in January.

“We look forward to creating new relationships with Waltham residents and businesses; and providing additional convenience to the many current Watertown Savings Bank customers who live, work or shop in Waltham,” said Senior Vice President of Retail Banking Robert Kelly.

It is a full-service location with two drive-up teller lanes, a drive-up ATM, and a walk-up ATM.   Managing the branch is Assistant Vice President William Burgess, who has been with the bank for nearly 25 years, and was born and raised in Waltham.  Burgess is very involved in the Waltham community, including his work with Springwell, Inc., and is the founder of the Emerging Leaders of Waltham program, through Warrendale Little League. The Assistant Branch Manager is Jason Neuman, who came to WSB in 2017 from TD Bank.
