Waverley Branch Relocation FAQs

Why is the branch moving?

Our lease is expiring soon and we are relocating to a nearby location to provide a better banking experience. Our new branch will offer:

  • improved accessibility, 
  • additional parking, 
  • convenient remote drive-up banking, 
  • drive-up ATMs,
  • safe deposit boxes,
  • and an updated space designed to better serve you.
What is the address of the new branch in Belmont?

307 Trapelo Road in Belmont, MA, a former TD Bank location.

When will the new branch open?

Stayed tuned. We expect our new branch to open in late 2026.

Is the new branch far from the current location?

No. The new branch is approximately .5 miles away from the Waverley Branch.

Will the current branch close?

Yes, but not until the new location opens. Waverley Branch will close as we transition to the new location. The ATMs at Waverley Branch will remain open at least through mid-2027.
 

Will I still see the same employees?

Yes! You'll continue to be served by the familiar team you've come to know. 

What services will be available at the new branch?

The new location will continue to offer the banking services you rely on, including personal and business banking, account services, and safe deposit boxes. There will be new features available: drive-up windows and drive-up ATMs, and an updated banking space.

Does the current branch have services that won't be available at the new location?

No. The new branch will continue to offer the banking services you use every day.

I have a safe deposit box. What happens to it?

If you currently rent a safe deposit box, we'll contact you directly with information about relocating your box to a new location. We'll work with you to make the process as smooth and convenient as possible.

Do I need to do anything because the branch is moving?

For most customers, no action is needed. Your accounts, account numbers, checks, debit cards, online banking, direct deposits, and automatic payments will all remain the same.

Will the branch's phone number change?

No. You can continue using the same phone number to reach us at 617-928-9000.

Will the branch hours change?

The new branch will offer at least the same hours you enjoy today with the potential for even greater convenience in the future.
